Piston Rings 

A small but indispensable component in an engine. If the piston rings are worn, compression and therefore power decreases. In addition, the engine may start consuming (more) oil because the seal no longer meets the required specifications.

Assemblies 

MAHLE also supplies ready-made assemblies. This is a piston with cylinder liner including the piston rings. It is best to get a complete set from MAHLE, so everything fits together perfectly. That means less searching and quality all in one. A valuable piece of advice from Wilmink's product specialist: when replacing these parts, also consider the other engine parts that work together with them, such as the crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and the crankshaft and connecting rod bolts.
