Gaskets (or seals) allow two parts to be joined together leak-free. These can be parts of the same material as well as two different materials. The most common head gasket is an MLS gasket, which consists of multiple layers of steel.
Depending on the parts and application, the gasket material is chosen, such as a rubber gasket. In addition to rubber seals, we also offer gaskets made of aluminium, cork or paper. We also sell the latter material as a gasket paper sheet, so you can cut a gasket to your shape. If you want to have a gasket designed, our custom service option offers the opportunity to make the gasket of your dreams! In other words; anything is possible when it comes to gaskets for the engine.

Many types of seals are available for the engine. Our range of seals is high quality and reliable and includes gaskets from manufacturers such as Elring gaskets and Victor Reinz gaskets. Below we highlight some of the most popular product groups.
De cilinderkoppakking, ook wel koppakking genoemd, zit gemonteerd tussen het draaiende gedeelte van het motorblok (onderblok) en de cilinderkop. The cylinder head gasket, also known as a head gasket, is fitted between the rotating part of the engine block (lower block) and the cylinder head. The head gasket provides a seal between the engine block and the cylinder head.
A faulty head gasket can result in, for example, oil getting into the coolant and/or loss of compression due to the cylinders no longer sealing off from each other. This can be recognised by smoke from the exhaust as oil and coolant mix, reduced compression and/or external leakage at the cylinder head, or overpressure in the cooling system. Head gasket replacement is inevitable.

Seals, also include various gasket rings, such as o-rings and oil rings. Here we briefly discuss the latter. The most important oil rings are used for rotating shafts and valve stem seals. These days, traditional oil rings are up against a new variant, the PTFE seals, or Teflon, used in most modern engines.
Our range of liquid gaskets includes various types. A liquid gasket can be seen as a kind of gasket sealant or adhesive but with various properties (heat resistance, material, seal size, and other fluids). Depending on the project, we have various liquid gaskets available from Victor Reinz and Elring, such as the REINZOSIL or Dirko gasket.

When fitting a new part, it is always advisable to fit a new gasket, as only in a few cases are certain gaskets reusable. In addition, gaskets can also break down and cause major damage, such as leakage. Also, make sure the other parts in the car are working properly. We all want to make sure we don’t end up with, for example, blown head gasket symptoms.
