At King, they really know everything about bearings, for the everyday passenger car to the performance race car! In terms of pure performance on the track, but also wear and tear, service life, preventing cavitation or oil shortage. The secret? Some 60 years of patiently experimenting with bearings, not being afraid to try new techniques. King developed some innovative, fluid-tight coatings that way in its own R&D Lab, using polymers that are 'nanocomposite': multiple ultra-thin layers on top of each other. Especially for heavy-duty engines, which have to work with heavy loads day-in-day-out, there is also a lead-free product line, based on silver. |
